The aerator works with the energy supplied by the batteries and the
solar panels. During the day when the sun is available, the solar
panels recharge the batteries (48 volts x 17 amp) while also
supplying electricity to the motor (120-260 volts AC). However, in
the night when there is no sunlight, the motor is only powered by
the electricity from the batteries.
